The Team

Darryl is our producer, main videographer, and editor.  He is passionate about sharing the natural world - from deep technical shipwrecks to flying high overhead.  Nearly every time he goes outside he takes at least one camera with him.

Darryl shoots mainly a Fuji X-H1 and a Sony PJ710 in a Mangrove housing.  He uses Big Blue and Sola lights to bring the colour and contrast.  His passion is finding new and creative ways to shoot and edit video.

When he's not filming, Darryl is an Advanced Care Paramedic.

Connie is a disciplined technical diver and our second shooter.  She has a unique perspective and captures spectacular images from unusual angles.  Connie is also our Safety Diver, Business Manager, diligent researcher, and model.  Knowing where to position herself in a frame to best tell the story is not as easy as it may appear.

As well as being endlessly positive, Connie has an eye for detail and can repair anything that breaks!

When not filming, Connie is riding her Ducati or doing needlework.

Ellis is a familiar name in the computer trade press, where he held senior editorial posts at a number of A-list IT publications, including CMP's [now UBM's] InternetWeek, Mecklermedia's Web Week, and IDG's Computerworld.  At Computerworld, he led the paper's Internet and Electronic Commerce coverage in the early days of the Web and was responsible for creating it's weekly Internet Page.

Ellis was editor-in-chief of Crain Communication Inc's BtoB, the only magazine devoted to covering the intersection of business strategy and business marketing.

How can we go wrong with a writer named Booker?
